Vegetation Control

Filter Bed Maintenance
Inspection and replacement of filter medium such as sand or gravel in filter beds is carried out to ensure petroleum products, algae and silt cannot seep below the filter level.

Storm Drain System Maintenance
Legacy will provide inspection, repairs and replacements to damaged drains, culverts, inflow pipes, flumes, outfall structures and trash racks. This may include parging risers, low flow joints, etc.. If necessary, the scope of work may include pumping the water level down so as to inspect the outfall barrel.

Fountain and Aeration Systems
Improved aeration in wet ponds through the use of diffusers and fountains is performed to encourage desirable plant species and wildlife, as well as to improve aesthetics.

What You Can Expect as a Legacy Storm Water Management Customer:

• Contact Legacy and forward the violation notice to our office
• We will arrange to meet with you on-site
• Within three business days you will receive a written emailed proposal detailing how Legacy will cure the violation notice.
• Sign & return the proposal
• Weather permitting and within four weeks, Legacy will be on-site to begin work.
• Within one week of the work's completion, the County source of the violation notice will receive from Legacy a written confirmation that the specific violations have been cured. Legacy will also offer to meet the County representative on-site, at no additional cost to the Customer. Your office will be copied on all correspondence with the County - you are always aware of the status of the violation.
