What To Expect from Legacy ContractingFor your ConsiderationYou will receive your written proposal, via email, typically, within three business days. If for any reason we need a little longer we'll let you know.SchedulingOrganizing your project and committing it to a scheduled time is critical. We will do our best to meet your deadlines and complete your project on the originally discussed schedule. Of course, occasionally we run into hurdles that are out of our control. Weather is the primary suspect. Since 90% of our work involves earth moving of some sort, a wet and rainy day sometimes will need to be followed up with 1-2 days of drying time as using our heavy equipment on soaked ground can damage the work area. We are of course committed to your project and will do our best to complete everything in a timely manner. Before We Start
Regardless of the scope of work, our goal is to maintain safety on your property. When digging is involved we first notify Miss Utility who will mark any possible underground utilities before our arrival. Even with those precautions, sometimes, something is missed. If this happens and you notice any type of outage, please contact our office. We will immediately take steps to repair the problem or contact the necessary services.
Once We ArriveThe day before your project is to commence, you will be emailed an approximate start time. Once we arrive our staff will do their best to make sure that neither you, nor your neighbors, are inconvenienced. If for some reason you find it difficult to maneuver around our equipment, please call the office or advise the on-site supervisor.Whenever possible, portable jobsite timeclocks are locked down at each jobsite. Workers clock in with keytabs that they carry with them. This is especially useful on projects that are calculated on a time & materials basis. Legacy has found that jobsite timeclocks help tremendously in providing accurate records and invoicing. Wrapping UpEach day upon completion of work our employees will police the jobsite and do their best to make sure any trash or loose materials are secured.Mission AccomplishedWe believe the most important component of your project is communication. Scenarios, questions or concerns may come up and we want you to be informed throughout the process. Please feel free to call or email our office at anytime. For after hours issues, when your project commences you will be provided an emergency contact number.
